Director & Casts

Huang YiLiang (Director)

Huang Yiliang is one of the more highly reputed actors in Singapore. He started playing supporting roles in the earlier part of his acting career. But that made him more determined to get ahead of other artistes in his cohort. Yiliang took a hiatus from acting to concentrate on his other interests. He rejoined MediaCorp when he was approached again to sign up as an artiste.

His comeback role saw him acting as a gluttony genie that would do anything for food. That role got him nominated as Best Comedy Performer in Star Awards, an annual award ceremony for local TV personalities. In 2002, he received the Best Supporting Actor award for his villainous role as an unscrupulous husband who would do anything for money.

Yiliang has been kept busy doing one production after another. However, this experienced actor is not complaining as he enjoys his work and would do his best for it.

Sheila Sim

Talent-spotted at the mere age of 16, Sheila has certainly come a long way. Having modeled for Yves Saint Laurent and Fendi , some but to name a few, Singapore’s fashion golden girl is leaving her mark everywhere she goes.

She was recently named the star of Singapore Fashion Fest, where she did 10 out of 15 shows, and was chosen recently as the face of London-based Singapore designer Ashley Isham's global ad campaign. This is no surprise, coming from a girl of model royalty – her aunt is Ivy Chng, the famous supermodel from the 1980s and 1990s.

Sheila beat out over 300 girls in a nationwide search to play the female lead in Autumn. In the director’s words “She blew the competition out of the water with her charisma and natural acting”

Nat Ho

Nat first burst onto our screen as a contestant for the first Singapore Idol back in 2004. He did not make it through but viewers definitely took notice of him. He went on to modelling and even landed a number of notable ad campaigns.

He later ventured into acting and landed his first gig, Smell of Rain, and Mediacorp signed him as a full-time actor the following year. His performance in his first ever drama series, Honour and Passion, even earned him a Best Newcomer nomination in Star Awards 2007.

He is currently the IT boy of Mediacorp and definitely the face to look out for!
